Make sure everyone is alright
Injuries first. Get clear of traffic if you can, put the hazards on, and call 911 if anyone is hurt or the road is blocked.
Call the police and get a report
A police report keeps the facts straight later, when the claim is being sorted out. Ask how to get a copy.
Photograph everything
All four corners of your vehicle, the other vehicle, plates, the road, and the damage up close. More photos than you think you need.
Trade information
Names, phone numbers, insurance carrier and policy numbers. Get contact details for any witnesses too.
Call your insurance company
Report the accident and get a claim number. You can tell them your vehicle is going to J.J.S. Auto Body Clinic — the shop is your choice, not theirs.
Call us at 715-822-2600
We will get your vehicle in, write a detailed estimate, and take it from there. Bring the claim number if you have it.
Insurance questions
Claims, plain and simple
No. You choose who repairs your vehicle. An insurer can suggest a shop, but the decision is yours, and we work with every carrier.
We write a detailed estimate, submit it to your insurance company, and deal with the adjuster on the repair itself. You keep your agent in the loop; we handle the shop side.
Once a vehicle comes apart, we sometimes find damage nobody could see from the outside. That additional work goes to your insurer as a supplemental claim. We tell you about it at the same time we tell them.
It depends on the damage and on how fast parts arrive. We give you a realistic window when we write the estimate and we call you if that window changes.
Yes. We mix to your vehicle’s paint code and blend into the surrounding panels so the repair does not read as a repair.
